Look into the Life of Keijing!

Hello, Everyone! Long time no update. Sorry, these past couple of months have flown by! Lately, I’ve been so busy with studying Chinese and taking multiple exams. I’m applying for a scholarship and to Fudan University in Shanghai as well. I’m finally twenty (my dad claims I was nineteen for five years), so I really want to start pursuing a degree by the end of the year. So if everything goes accordingly, I’ll be able to stay in China. I’ve yet to think of an alternative. But I’m practicing affirmations and visualizing myself receiving two acceptance letters!

I made a little vlog and I think I want to try to have a vlog series. So if you want to see more, just let me know!

Thanks for all of the support and Happy New Year!

From Keijing

It’s Like a G-Spot…

The odds of a woman reaching orgasm are slim to none. Those odds are the same for a writer to try to find their “C-spot”. The creative spot that indicates the location, routine, materials, and mindset a writer must have to attain true inspiration. Finding both spots take many different tactics. Some men try to set the mood by adding music for the woman who’s g-spot they’re seeking. Writers also try to set the mood with music in quest for their c-spot.

The underwear clad woman sat at the foot of a fluffy down feather bed. An author sat at his carved hardwood desk. The man across from Her took a few steps forward, their eyes meeting, he had something in his hand. She closed her eyes, heard a faint click sound and the room was suddenly filled with the smooth tones of a jazz saxophone and piano. The Author just bought an old Nat King Cole record at a garage sale. The Man and The Author both adjusted the volume just right, not too loud, not too soft but so natural that it blended into their peripheral hearing.  He sat next to Her and she let the music and his body heat entice her. The Author listened and analyzed the lyrics of Autumn Leaves. He picked up the pen and began to write. The Man’s face slowly moved closer to Hers and in a moment their lips were touching. The Author was a page down, he thought to himself, this is it, first draft. It had been so long since he wrote. The Man laid Her down on the bed, she thought, this is it, finally. She couldn’t remember the last time she had been with somebody. She was so attracted to him and she could see their future. The author had the whole story in his head, he could see it being a best seller. The music continued to play, The Man was touching Her in places she was beginning to believe were foreign. The Author forgot what it felt like to be in the zone. The music was taking over all of their senses. They could hear it, smell it, and almost taste it. Was she making love to The Man or the music? Was The Author writing or was the music? The Man slightly panted, she softly moaned, the ink spilled on the paper. The Man and Her rolled around on the bed, taking each other’s bodies, so in synch, so animalistic. The letters turned to words, the words turned to sentences, and the sentences turned to pages. The author and Her were in pure ecstasy. The man was on top of Her, enveloping her with everything he had to offer at the moment. Nat King Cole took The Author to another world. The Author wrote faster, already ten pages written. The Man’s rhythm increased. The Author and The Man both reached the climax. The jazz stopped, Nat King halted, the record needed to be turned over, which broke The Author’s concentration. She came down from the euphoric state she was in. The Man slept, The Author got up, angry, and threw the pages on the floor. He was so close to finishing. She stood up angrily and picked her clothes up off the floor. She was so close to finishing.

Day In the Desert

The deserts of Inner Mongolia..

You’re probably looking at the last picture and thinking to yourself, wow Keijing’s on a camel! But all I can see in the picture is the huge stick that’s been put in the camel’s nose. One thing I learned from my short trip to Mongolia is how inhumanly animals are treated. On the bus ride there, a truck full of pigs were smushed together with no room to move around on their way to the slaughter house. But I guess the butchers mentality is why butter them up if they’re going to die anyway? Just throw the frog in the boiling hot water instead of slowly turning up the heat. It’s something we don’t think about, most animals in zoos and that are used for entertainment are treated very badly. But who cares, they don’t have feelings, right? Then why does my dog feel it when I step on her or why does she cry when my mom leaves her at home? Everything is a creature, we’re all nature..

I’ve been really sick lately, don’t worry though, just the flu.. I’ve been having a lot on my mind and I’ve noticed that the littlest things can inspire me. So I’ve decided to share  them with you!

My good friend Andrea told me about this show Roadtrip Nation which is about chasing your dreams no matter what..

Solange Knowles inspires me so much! Almost more than her sister, she blogs, is into fashion, is versatile and fierce, intelligent, talented, and travels the world. She is a pearl and treats the world as her oyster! And I LOVED her looks for Vogue UK in February.

I met had a dream that I lived in Singapore which is one of the healthiest, cleanest places in the world. After I woke up I said to myself, I’ve never met a Singaporean! And a few days later I met a girl at the gynecologist named Serene who was from Singapore… Weird! But Singapore sounds like paradise right now, I could live there and still work for Vogue China!

It’s that time of year, Black History Month. And in honor of all the people that paved the way for who I am and able to be today I want to give them my utmost respect and gratitude. I know we’re usually taught in school about slavery or the Civil Rights Movement, we’re only really taught the darkness of black history never the positive side. So in this month in my spare time, I’m going to post frequently about the triumphs of black history. It’s going to require a lot of research(and googling) but there are a lot of stories that need to be told and people that need to be acknowledged. I want to mostly concentrate on the women of black history, but I’ll throw in a man every now and then.
